An infectious disease causing vomiting and diarrhea has been making its presence known in Northern Kentucky in recent weeks. These symptoms are typical of Norovirus, a highly contagious gastrointestinal illness. “We’ve heard from school nurses, physicians’ offices, child care centers and nursing homes about numerous cases of vomiting and diarrhea this winter,” said Lynne M. Saddler, MD, MPH, District Director of Health. “Although Norovirus is not a disease that’s required to be reported to the Health Department, we’ve got enough evidence to suggest that it’s circulating in the community and that this is the time to step up our efforts to prevent further spread.”
NOTE : We recommend much rest & plenty of VITAMIN C & ECHINICEA & you should get well if you contract this virus.
